Bold Predictions: Eagles vs. Seahawks

Updated: Nov 29, 2019

This weekend the Eagles will play their third straight home game when they take on the Seattle Seahawks. Before the teams take the field, our writers need to make their bold predictions for the game known. Here's a recap of previous bold predictions from each week and the winning predictor from our writers:

Week 1: Mike W.

Week 2: Michael V. (partial credit)

Week 3: no correct predictions

Week 4: Andrew W. & Mike W. (both partial credit)

Week 5: Chalie (Dylan partial credit)

Week 6: Dylan (partial credit)

Week 7: no correct predictions

Week 8: no correct predictions

Week 9: Andrew W. & Travis (partial credit)

Week 11: no correct predictions

We'll see if anyone can have a fully correct prediction this week as the Eagles try to move to 6-5 on the season. Here's what our writers are boldly predicting for this weekend:

Michael V.: JJAW will snag two, count them, TWO touchdowns in an attempt to try and quiet the "we should have taken Metcalf" talk.

Andrew: A "fat guy touchdown" is finally scored by the Eagles for what feels like the first time in forever. The touchdown will come via a touchdown pass from Carson Wentz to Halapoulivaati Vaitai when Vaitai is an eligible receiver on the goal-line.

Chalie: Eagles defense steps up again and let’s up less than 60 rushing yards and 200 passing yards.

Dylan: The Eagles solve the wide receiver crises (at least for one week) and Alshon Jeffery, Jordan Matthews, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside put up at least 150 yards combined (if Alshon doesn't play then Greg Ward will take his place and put up the production).

Travis: JJ Arcega-Whiteside WILL have a better game statistically than DK Metcalf, and in the process shut the haters up.

Alexis: I predict the defense will put up a good fight this Sunday. Howard and Johnson being out will definitely hurt us. I’m not counting them out yet though because the game is at the Linc and I still feel Eagles play better when everyone counts them out. Eagles make it a good game and win 23-20.
