Bold Predictions: Eagles at Packers

The Eagles will try to snap their two game skid as they take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Thursday. It's time for our weekly bold predictions post.

Here's a recap of previous bold predictions from each week and the winning predictor from our writers:

Week 1: Mike W.

Week 2: Michael V. (partial credit)

Week 3: no correct predictions

With no one getting a prediction right last week we'll see if one of us can get back on track by nailing an accurate prediction. Here's what our writers believe will happen:

Michael V.: I'm still reeling over the loss to the Lions. I was told there would be no more losing after we finally won our fist Superbowl. This team is 1-2 and is staring 1-3 in the face. It's rare to have a "must win" game this early in the season, but heading to Lambeau on short week with a losing record sure feels like one. I don't feel in my gut that we win this game. So my bold prediction? Plain and simple, that we win. Don't care how, by how many, or what it takes. Just win. Go Birds.

Andrew: The Packers defense has 12 sacks through three games. The Eagles offensive line will step up and not allow Carson Wentz to take a sack on Thursday (although he might take a few hits). This will allow Carson to throw for over 300 yards and for three passing touchdowns.

Mike W.: The Eagles pound the rock on a short week. JH goes 23 carries for 93 yards 1 TD. Sanders goes 11 carries 62 yards 1 TD.

Alexis: Alshon shows fans what he can do with a touchdown in the first quarter. The Eagles steer their heads on straight and take the Packers down in a 30-24 victory.

Shannon: I think Fletcher Cox is finally going to start making some noise on the field. He’ll sack Aaron Rogers twice on Thursday Night.

Tyler: Zach Ertz has had a quiet 2019 season thus far. With Alshon back in the lineup Thursday, less attention is given to Ertz who catches 16 passes for 215 yards, three of which go for touchdowns.

Chalie: Alshon returns back to the field and gets 130+ yards and 2 TDs.
