Team Believes That Jason Peters Won't Miss Any Time With His Injury

After cruising to a 34-13 win against the Giants on Thursday, the focus turned to Left Tackle Jason Peters. Peters left the game with a biceps injury and never returned. It was later reported that he had suffered a torn biceps in the win, which most suspected would put an end to his season. Peters will be defying the odds though, as not only is he gonna be playing again this season, but apparently Eagles Offensive Line coach Jeff Stoutland believes Peters won't miss any time from this injury.

Since the game and injured occurred on Thursday, Peters has had a little more extended time to recover before the next game which is on Sunday versus Carolina. The personnel at the NovaCare Complex believe that Peters has handled the injury well and has recovered enough to continue playing through the pain in what could end up being his last season of football.

Peters is coming to the end of a Hall-of-Fame career, but it will take much more than this torn biceps to get him to stay off the field.
