As the draft approaches, the Eagles are still keeping tabs on a local prospect. Yesterday, Temple running back Ryquell Armstead visited with the Eagles yesterday.
Since Armstead is a local prospect, he doesn't count against the top 30 pre-draft visits. The team definitely has interest in him, as they previously met with him at the combine and at his pro day. Vice President of Player Personnel Joe Douglas had a one-on-one conversation with Armstead following the conclusion of his pro day workouts too.
Armstead is currently considered a likely day three pick, so Eagles fans and Temple fans should keep a close eye on this development on the draft's final day.
