REPORT: Eagles to Workout Corey Coleman

After a game where only four different receivers caught a pass, it appears the team is trying to find an upgrade at the position until Alshon Jeffery is fully recovered from his offseason surgery. Earlier today the team brought in WR Breshad Perriman for a workout, and now the team will be bringing in another former first round draft pick - Corey Coleman.

Coleman was drafted 15th overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has played in 19 career games, totaling 56 catches for 718 yards and 5 TD's.

With the team missing key players like Alshon Jeffery and Mack Hollins for at least a few more weeks, it sounds like they want to bring in another receiver to possibly take some snaps. Markus Wheaton only ended up playing two snaps on Thursday night, so it appears the team doesn't think of him as a reliable option in future games. Hopefully they see something in Perriman or Coleman during these workouts that makes them think they can contribute in some way to the team.
