The Eagles are desperate for help at the wide receiver spot. Earlier today news broke that the team brought in Jordan Matthews for a workout and physical. It's not clear at this time if the team is planning on just bringing one receiver in, or if they will sign multiple. If Matthews ends up not being cleared at his physical, the team apparently wants to bring in another former Eagles receiver - Jeremy Maclin.
Maclin's last season with the Eagles was 2014. Since then, he has spent time in Kansas City and Baltimore, putting up pedestrian numbers in 2016 and 2017. At this stage in his career he will likely just be a short-term answer until Alshon Jeffery returns. He could possibly provide better production than Kamar Aiken, but if Maclin does come back don't expect him to be the Pro Bowl-type receiver he was in 2014.
