Tonight a report from the Washington Post claims that Jadeveon Clowney will not be fined for the hit he put on Carson Wentz in the Wildcard round.
You would think a league that prioritizes keeping its quarterbacks healthy would punish repeat offenders like Clowney more harshly, but the NFL has always been inconsistent with its penalties, fines and suspensions.
Since Clowney has nothing holding him back from continuing his dirty style of play, we will have to see if he tries to take out Aaron Rodgers early on Sunday. Maybe the league will finally step in if he tries to or succeeds in taking out one of the league's star quarterbacks.
