When the Eagles selected Stanford wide receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft, most fans were suspicious of the selection (mostly because no one had really heard much hype around him or watched his college games). Now as Training Camp approaches and fans have had an opportunity to see and hear how he did during mini-camp, everyone is eager to see just how much he can bring to the table.
One analyst, NFL Network's Brian Baldinger, believes Arcega-Whiteside has major upside and be a major help for Carson Wentz and the rest of the Eagles offense.
Baldinger also compared Arcega-Whiteside's route-running to All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Of course it's only a small sample-size that Baldinger has watched, but fans will be able to get glimpses of his abilities during the preseason. If he does end up wowing the crowds at the games, then that will only increase the Super Bowl buzz that is already surrounding this 2019 Eagles team.
