New Reports Tell Us How Long the Eagles Will Be Without Key Players

Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens hurt the Eagles figuratively and literally. Before the game was over they had lost five key players to injuries -- Miles Sanders, Zach Ertz, Malik Jackson, Jack Driscoll, and K'Von Wallace.

NFL Insider Chris Mortensen provided some injury reports on four of the five players, and the initial prognosis is not good for their immediate future.

With Ertz now out, the Eagles are now down to their third and fourth-string tight ends -- Richard Rodgers and Jason Croom.

Miles Sanders snaps will be replaced by his trio of backups -- Boston Scott, Corey Clement, and Jason Huntley.

Malik Jackson will be replaced in his rotation by Javon Hargrave and Hassan Ridgeway.

It's unclear who will be at right tackle on Thursday if Lane Johnson is unable to return in time. Brett Toth replaced Driscoll late in the game (and looked horrible). They could call Prince Tega Wangho up from the practice squad to see what the rookie could do, or just roll with Toth and hope for the best.
