Today the NFL handed out their fines from last week's games. Even though the Eagles played a clean game against the New York Giants, Defensive End Michael Bennett was fined over $20,000.
This is the play that Bennett was fined for, in case you wanted to remember how ridiculous the initial penalty was on Thursday night.
The NFL wants players like Bennett to avoid putting their full body weight on quarterbacks. They would rather defensive players injure themselves than have a higher risk of a quarterback suffering an injury.
Luckily the penalty in the game didn't end up costing the Eagles much - they forced the Giants to a field goal and were able to cruise to a 34-13 win. Now Bennett will need to fork up some cash, and will have to try to learn how to sack quarterbacks without touching them.
