After Alvin Kamara took shots at the Eagles on August 8th, fans knew it was only a matter of time until someone would fire back, and who better than the All-Pro Right Tackle, Lane Johnson. Lane has had a variety of colorful comments throughout the past year, from promising the city of Philadelphia free beer if the Eagles win the Super Bowl to shutting up Cowboys fans, including his very own grandmother. It comes as no surprise he would have words for the New Orleans running back, via a radio interview yesterday afternoon.
With the release of Madden 19 on August 10th, it wouldn’t be too difficult for Johnson to get his wish. The Eagles will look to "Embrace the Target" as they play the Saints in New Orleans on November 18th and will try to prove Vegas right.
The Eagles travel to New England on August 16, 2018 for their second preseason game.
