After waiving DeAndre Carter from the roster today, the Eagles have only three healthy receivers on the roster: Nelson Agholor, Shelton Gibson and Kamar Aiken. The team is in desperate need of receiver help while Alshon Jeffery and Mack Hollins are still out.
A familiar face might be the short-term answer, as the team reportedly brought in WR Jordan Matthews for a visit/workout today.
Matthews was Carson Wentz's favorite target in his rookie season. With Wentz set to return this Sunday from his injury, and with a depleted receiving core, it makes sense that the team is looking to bring in a player familiar with Wentz and the Eagles offensive playbook.
