The injuries are starting to add up on the Eagles sideline. Alshon Jeffery is still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, Darren Sproles missed Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Jason Peters left Sunday's game early, and Mike Wallace is set to miss multiple games with an ankle injury. Now it appears another player is going to be out of commission for a game.
Today in a press conference, Eagles offensive coordinator Mike Groh revealed that RB Jay Ajayi will likely miss at least one game.
Ajayi left the Buccaneers game early with a back injury. He returned later in the game, but it seems like his back is still in bad shape. If Darren Sproles ends up missing the Colts game as well, expect to see a lot of Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood in the backfield in Carson Wentz's return. Josh Adams could likely make his debut as well.
