Gameday Rituals For Eagles Fans

Ladies and gentlemen, we are nine days away from the Eagles kicking off the 2020 NFL season. Yes, that’s Nick Foles many days, Jim McMahon many days, Rodney Peete many da....I’m getting carried away, you get the picture.

This got me thinking of the Eagles gameday rituals. We all have them. Sometimes they change if you move homes, get a new couch, or some other variable enters the fray.

While some of us are a bit more emphatic than others, every ritual carries the same meaning to us all. We all want the Eagles to win!

During the game, NO FANTASY FOOTBALL TEAM CHECKS. STRICT no phone policy for me. Too many trolls. There is the injury twitter check exception if the broadcast doesn’t get the info fast enough. After the game, you can catch me writing here! or our $1 Eagles game day coffee, then to church, and/or the park for a walk. The walk is key to get the nervous energy out, and exchange a few “Go Birds” to others walking around. Finally, we‘ll head home, and start the food prep/ordering.
