We are now three weeks into the USFL season. Week 1 showed some promise with former Eagles players, and Week 2 was mostly the same players getting the same production they had the previous week. Week 3 saw some good progress for quite a few former Birds.
A reminder that a total of 14 players in the league have spent at least some time on the Eagles 53-man roster or training camp roster.
Here's a look at the former Eagles who appeared in this weekend's boxscores:

Philadelphia Stars
The Stars got out to an early 10-0 lead against the New Jersey Gamblers, but an injury to their impressive QB Bryan Scott halted any momentum they had in the game, and eventually went on to lose 24-16. With injuries to both his ankle and knee, Scott announced that he is stepping away from the Stars and heading home to address his injuries; their is a likelihood he misses the rest of the season.
We'll track these former Eagles along with the Philadelphia Stars throughout their seasons to see if any play well enough to earn another chance in the NFL, and possibly another chance in Philadelphia.
