Eagles Trade For Safety From Arizona Cardinals

We got a minor trade that developed today, as the Eagles traded away defensive tackle Bruce Hector to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for safety Rudy Ford.

Ford was drafted by the Cardinals in the 6th round of the 2017 Draft. He has played in 23 games, most of his impact being made on special teams.

It is unknown if Ford will be available to play in tonight's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, but Ford will have one full week plus the final preseason game against the New York Jets to prove he deserves to make the 53-man roster.
