With the addition of Dallas Goedert last offseason, the Eagles appear to be set at the tight end position for the next few years. But that isn't stopping Howie Roseman from looking at tight end prospects for this year's draft. Today the Eagles reportedly spent some time talking with West Virginia's Trevon Wesco after his workout.
Trevon Wesco | TE | 6'4, 274 lbs| Sr.
Wesco finished fourth on the Mountaineers in 2018 with 366 receiving yards on 26 catches, scoring one touchdown. Big 12 coaches named him first-team all-conference for his play this past season. He has no chance of supplanting Zach Ertz or Dallas Goedert though. If the Eagles were to draft him at the end of the draft, or snag him as an undrafted free agent, Wesco would have to battle Joshua Perkins in training camp to win the 3rd tight end spot.
Current Projection: 7th Round/UDFA
