The Eagles added depth to their defensive line this morning when Ryan Kerrigan took to Instagram to announce that he is signing with the team.
Kerrigan was a thorn in the Eagles' side for the past decade, recording 13.5 sacks against Philadelphia in 19 games. His 95.5 sacks are the most ever in Washington's franchise history, and is he gets 4.5 sacks with the Eagles this season he can become just the 36th player in NFL history to amass 100+ sacks in his career.
The 32-year-old has been extremely durable throughout his career too, as he has played in 156 of a possible 160 games in his 10-year career.
Since 2011, he ranks fifth in the league in sacks and seventh in tackles for loss.
He should also be a big help in key NFC East games this season, as his 39.5 sacks within the division are the third-most over the last 10 seasons.
