Eagles Sign Another Receiver to Futures Contract

The Eagles are moving on in the playoffs thanks to the "double doink". But  even with the team focusing on the New Orleans Saints this week, Howie Roseman and the front office are getting a head start on the 2019 roster.

Today the team announced they have signed WR Carlton Agudosi to a futures contract.

Agudosi is the second player already signed to a futures contract. Last week, the team signed Sony Michel’s brother, Marken Michel, who is also a receiver. Agudosi and Michel were among six players who came to the NovaCare Complex back on Christmas Eve to workout with the Eagles. It seems they both impressed enough to earn a chance to fight for a roster spot in 2019.

After going undrafted back in 2017, Agudosi signed with the Arizona Cardinals. He has spent time on their practice squad and active roster, but has not yet played in an NFL game. In 45 career games at Rutgers University, Agudosi recorded 35 receptions for 513 yards and two touchdowns.
