Eagles Records and Accolades That Could Be Achieved in 2022

As the 2022 season approaches, there are plenty of Eagles veterans (and youngsters too) that can climb up the annals of Eagles history during the regular season. The following list will detail each player's stats heading into the season, and just how high they can ascend on the Eagles' leaderboards.

Jalen Hurts

  • With the addition of a 17th game, Hurts has a solid chance of setting the franchise record for passing yards in a season. Carson Wentz currently holds the record (4,039), but Hurts would only need to average 237 yards a game if he is healthy and plays in all 17 games. Last season the team turned away from a passing attack and focused on their NFL-best running game, but now with A.J. Brown in town Eagles fans can expect Hurts' passing numbers to increase significantly.

  • Hurts (13) needs one more rushing touchdown to pass Norm Snead (13) for the 4th-most rushing touchdowns by a QB in Eagles history. He should also have a chance to pass Michael Vick (15) for 3rd place in franchise history. He still has a ways to go though to catch up to Donovan McNabb (28) and Randall Cunningham (32).

  • Hurts (1,138) is 862 yards away from passing Michael Vick (1,998) for the 3rd most rushing yards by a QB in Eagles history.

Miles Sanders

  • Sanders (2,439) needs just 61 yards to become 14th player in Eagles history with 2,500+ rushing yards

  • Sanders (9) is 1 rushing touchdown away from becoming the 33rd Eagle with 10+ rushing touchdowns.

  • If Sanders produces the same amount of rushing yards as he did last season, he will have a total of 3,193 yards which would put him in 11th place on the Eagles all-time rushing list.

Boston Scott

  • Scott (928) is 72 yards from becoming the 22nd Eagle in history with 1,000+ kick return yards. He is likely to rotate on kickoffs with Quez Watkins and Kenny Gainwell.

  • Scott (992) is 8 rushing yards from becoming 40th player in Eagles history with 1,000 rushing yards. If Scott produces the same amount of rushing yards as he did last season, he will have a total of 1,365 yards which would put him in 28th place on the Eagles all-time rushing list.

DeVonta Smith

  • Smith (64) is 36 receptions away from becoming the 57th pass catcher in Eagles history with 100 receptions.

  • Smith (914) is 84 yards away from becoming the 68th pass catcher in Eagles history with 1,000 receiving yards.

  • Smith (5) is 5 touchdowns away from becoming the 49th player in Eagles history with 10+ receiving touchdowns.

  • Smith will look to be the 1st Philly WR to have a 1,000-yard season since Jeremy Maclin in 2014. It's the longest active drought by any team in the NFL.

A.J. Brown

  • Brown will look to be the 1st Philly WR to have a 1,000-yard season since Jeremy Maclin in 2014. It's the longest active drought by any team in the NFL.

Dallas Goedert

  • Goedert (2,295) is 205 yards from becoming 30th receiver (10th TE) in franchise history with 2,500 receiving yards.

  • Goedert (2,295) is 55 yards away from passing Chad Lewis (2,349) for the 11th-most receiving yards by a TE in Eagles history.

  • Goedert (16) is 4 touchdowns away from becoming 25th player in franchise history with 20+ touchdown catches.

  • Goedert (193) is 7 receptions away from becoming 30th player to reach 200+ receptions with the Eagles.

Lane Johnson

  • Johnson has played in 112 games in his Eagles career, which places him in 56th place in Eagles history. If he is able to play in all 17 regular season games, he could rise up to a tie for 30th place with Frank LeMaster (129 games).

Jason Kelce

  • Kelce (159) is tied with Randy Logan (159) for the 9th-most games played in an Eagles uniform. If he is able to play in all 17 games this season, he will pass Brent Celek (175) for the 4th-most games played in Eagles history. He also just needs 11 games played to pass Chuck Bednarik (169) for the most games played by a center in team history.

  • Jason Kelce’s 122 consecutive start streak is the fifth-longest in Eagles history. Behind only S Randy Logan (124), OL Jerry Sisemore (127), CB Herm Edwards (135), and RT Jon Runyan (144).

Brandon Graham

  • Graham (161) has played the 8th-most games in an Eagles uniform. If he is able to play in all 17 games this season, he'll pass Brent Celek (175) for 4th place.

  • Graham (312) currently has the 22nd-most solo tackles in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (28 solo tackles/season), he'll pass Michael Lewis (325) for 17th place.

  • Graham (19) is tied with Trent Cole for the 3rd-most forced fumbles in franchise history. He needs 3 forced fumbles to pass Seth Joyner for 2nd-place. He likely won't be able to catch Brian Dawkins' franchise record of 32 forced fumbles.

  • Graham (105) is 20 tackles for loss away from passing Trent Cole (124) for the most tackles for loss in Eagles history

Fletcher Cox

  • Cox (156) has played the 12th-most games in an Eagles uniform. If he is able to play in all 17 games this season, he'll pass Chuck Bednarik (169) for 5th-place.

  • Cox (3) is 1 Fumble return touchdown away from passing Seth Joyner (3) for the most in Eagles history.

Darius Slay

  • Slay has 3 returns for touchdowns. The only Eagles defensive players with more career return TDs are Eric Allen (5), Sheldon Brown (5), Seth Joyner (5), Malcolm Jenkins (4), and Jerry Norton (4).

Jake Elliott

  • Elliott (80) is 3 games from passing Sam Baker (82) for 3rd-most games played by a kicker in Eagles history.

  • Elliott (15) is 2 50+ field goals away from passing David Akers (16) for the most in Eagles history

  • Elliott (175) is 31 PATs away from passing Sam Baker (205) for 3rd-most PATs in Eagles history.

Rick Lovato

  • Lovato (84) is 16 games from 100 games as an Eagle.

The Eagles Franchise

  • The Eagles (599) are 1 win away from 600 wins as a franchise. They are tied with the Los Angeles Rams for 6th-most wins in NFL history.

  • The Eagles (1,398) are 2 field goals away from 1,400 field goals in team history.

  • The Eagles (1,092) are 8 rushing touchdowns away from 1,100 rushing touchdowns in franchise history.
