Eagles Records and Accolades That Could Be Achieved in 2020

As the 2020 season approaches, there are plenty of Eagles veterans (and youngsters too) that can climb up the annals of Eagles history during the regular season. The following list will detail each player's stats heading into the season, and just how high they can ascend on the Eagles' leaderboards.

Carson Wentz

  • Wentz (14,191) needs 1,482 yards to pass Norm Snead (15,672) for the 4th most passing yards in Eagles history. He's too far away to reach Randall Cunningham (22,877) for 3rd place this year, but he'll be reaching that marker very soon.

  • Wentz (97) needs 15 passing TDs to pass Norm Snead (111) for the 4th most passing TD’s in Eagles history. He's too far away to reach Randall Cunningham (150) for 3rd place this year, but he'll likely approach him in 2021.

  • Wentz (6) currently has the 7th-most 4th Quarter comebacks in team history. If he gets three more this season, that will put him past Norm Van Brocklin (8) for the 4th-most in Eagles history.

  • Wentz (8) currently has the 7th-most game-winning drives in team history. If he gets three more this season, that will put him past Norm Snead (10) for the 4th-most in Eagles history

  • If Wentz plays all 16 games this season, he will reach 72 career games with the Eagles, passing Adrian Burk (70) for the 7th-most games played by a QB in Eagles history.

Miles Sanders

  • Sanders (818) needs just 182 rushing yards to become the 37th Eagle with 1,000 career rushing yards.

  • If Sanders produces the same amount of rushing yards as he did last season, he will tie Jim Palmer (1,636) for the 25th-most rushing yards in Eagles history.

Alshon Jeffery

  • Jeffery (165) has averaged 55 receptions/year as an Eagle. If he reaches that many receptions, he could move into the top-30 in Eagles history in receptions, just above Charlie Smith (218 -- 28th place).

  • Jeffery (2,122) has averaged 707 receiving yards/year as an Eagle. If he reaches that many receiving yards, he could move into the top-25 in Eagles history in receptions, just above Todd Pinkston (2,816 -- 24th place).

  • Jeffery (19) has averaged six touchdowns/year as an Eagle. If he reaches that many touchdowns, he could move into the top-20 in Eagles history in touchdown receptions, just above Todd Pinkston (24 -- 17th place).

DeSean Jackson

  • Jackson (90) is 10 games away from 100 career games with the Eagles. He'd become the 6th receiver in team history to play 100+ games (Harold Carmichael, Charlie Smith, Jason Avant, Ben Hawkins, Mike Quick).

  • Jackson (365) currently has the 8th-most receptions in Eagles history. There's a good chance, if he remains healthy, that he would pass Brent Celek (398) for 5th-place on the Eagles all-time list.

  • Jackson (6,276) currently has the 4th-most receiving yards in Eagles history. He should pass Mike Quick (6,464) easily for 3rd-place, and if he has a monster season he could even potentially reach Pete Retzlaff (7,412) for 2nd-place.

  • Jackson (34) has the 9th-most touchdown receptions in Eagles history and is breathing down Zach Ertz's neck (35 -- 8th-place). Though improbable, Both Jackson and Ertz could reach and pass Bobby Walson (46 -- 6th-place) or Pete Retzlaff (47 -- 5th-place).

  • Jackson (21) is three 100-yard games away from passing Pete Retzlaff (23) for the most 100-yard receiving games in Eagles history.

  • Jackson (10,420) currently has the 41st-most receiving yards in NFL history. If he puts up his career average (868 yards) this season, he'd pass Antonio Brown (11,263) and slide into 35th-place.

Zach Ertz

  • Ertz (106) is 10 games away from entering the top 50 in games played in Eagles history. If he places all 16 games this season, he'll tie Randall Cunningham (122) for 39th-place. He'd also have the 3rd-most games played by a tight end in Eagles history, behind only Pete Retzlaff (132) and Brent Celek (175).

  • Ertz (35) has the 8th-most touchdown receptions in Eagles history, but he has DeSean Jackson (34) breathing down his neck. Though improbable, Both Ertz and Jackson could reach and pass Bobby Walson (46 -- 6th-place) or Pete Retzlaff (47 -- 5th-place).

  • Ertz (525) needs 65 catches to pass Harold Carmichael (589) for the most catches in Eagles history

  • Ertz (525) currently has the 16th-most receptions by a tight end in NFL history. If he catches his career average (75 receptions/season), he'll pass Heath Miller (592) and sit in 11th-place.

  • Ertz (35) currently has the 8th-most touchdown catches in Eagles history. He needs just two to pass Jeremy Maclin (36) for 7th-place. He'll need to be a big redzone target this year if he wants to climb the list further, as the next two Eagles on the list are Bobby Walston (46) and Pete Retzlaff (47).

  • Ertz (5,74) currently sits 5th in Eagles history in receiving yards. His teammate DeSean Jackson is right in front of him in 4th-place with 6,276 yards. Both Ertz and Jackson could pass the 3rd-place Mike Quick (6,464) this season.

  • Ertz (12) currently has the 11th-most 100-yard receiving games in Eagles history. If he can muster up six 100-yard performances in 2020, he'll pass Tommy McDonald (17) for 5th-place in that accolade.

  • Ertz (11) is one 10+ catch performance from passing Jason Witten for the 2nd-most 10+ catch games by a TE in NFL history, and is just five 10+ catch performances away from passing Tony Gonzalez (15) for the most by a TE in NFL history.

Jason Peters

  • Peters (140) has played the 18th-most games in an Eagles uniform. If he is able to play in all 16 games this season, he'll tie Jerry Sisemore (156) for 10th-place as well as be tied for the 2nd-most games played by a tackle in Eagles history.

Jason Kelce

  • Kelce (126) has played the 32nd-most games in an Eagles uniform. If he is able to play in all 16 games this season, he'll tie Ron Jaworski (142) for 17th-place; he will also have played the 3rd-most games by a center in Eagles history.

Brandon Graham

  • Graham (143) has played the 16th-most games in an Eagles uniform. If he is able to play in all 16 games this season, he'll tie Randy Logan (159) for 8th-place. he will also have played the most games by a defensive end in Eagles history.

  • Graham (277) currently has the 22nd-most solo tackles in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (27 solo tackles/season), he'll pass Hollis Thomas (292) for 19th-place.

  • Graham (51.0) currently has the 5th-most sacks in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (5.0 sacks/season), he'll pass Hugh Douglas (54.5) for 4th-place.

Fletcher Cox

  • Cox (125) has played the 16th-most games in an Eagles uniform. If he is able to play in all 16 games this season, he'll pass William Thomas (140) for 19th-place. he will also have played the 2nd-most games by a defensive tackle in Eagles history.

  • Cox (48.0) currently has the 7th-most sacks in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (6.0 sacks/season), he'll pass Greg Brown (54.5) for 6th-place, and depending on what Brandon Graham does (51.0), Cox could move up to 5th-place.

Vinny Curry

  • Curry (27.0) currently has the 20th-most sacks in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (3.5 sacks/season), he'll pass Jerome Brown (29.5) for 18th-place.

Jalen Mills

  • Mills (37) currently has the 13th-most passes defended in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (9 PDs/season) he'll pass Michael Lewis (41) for 10th-place.

Jake Elliott

  • Elliott (74) is currently tied for the 7th-most field goals made in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (24 FGM/season) he'll pass Paul McFadden (91) for the 2nd-most field goals made in team history. He has a long ways to catch David Akers (294) for the top of the throne.

  • Elliott (329) currently the 16th-most points scored in Eagles history. If he can reach his average this season (109 points/season) he'll pass Tony Franklin (412) for the 6nd-most points scored in team history.

Doug Pederson

  • Pederson (38) is six wins away from passing Buddy Ryan (43) for the 4th most wins by a coach in Eagles history. He's too far away to reach Dick Vermiel (54), but Vermeil's ranking will be put on notice in 2021.
