Eagles Promote From Within For New WR Coach

The offseason for the Eagles has been underway for a less than a month, and there has already been a healthy amount of turnover when it comes to the coaching staff. WR coach Gunter Brewer, DL coach Chris Wilson and assistant OL coach Eugene Chung have all moved on from the team. To counteract those moves, so far the team has added Roy Istvan as their assistant OL coach, Matt Burke to an advisory role for the defense, and G.J. Kinne has been named an offensive assistant.

Today the team found their new WR coach, giving the job to Carson Walch.

Walch joined the Eagles coaching staff during the 2018 offseason. Prior to joining the Eagles, Walch spent two seasons with the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos as their offensive coordinator/receivers coach (2017) and receivers/passing game coordinator (2016).

NFL Insider Adam Caplan doesn't believe this will be the last promotion from within the Eagles staff will make this offseason. So stay tuned...
