Eagles & Cowboys Announce Final Injury Reports for Sunday's Game

The Eagles-Cowboys rivalry continues on Sunday night. Neither team will enter the game not at 100%, as both will be missing some players who play key roles.

  • This is Sidney Jones' 3rd-straight game missed with his hamstring injury. He seemed to be testing out his legs at practice this week, so this should hopefully be the last game he misses.

  • This is the first game of Jalen Mills' career that he will miss. With him and Jones out, Ronald Darby and Rasul Douglas will have to step up.

  • Darren Sproles was supposed to return this week, but a set-back with his hamstring injury. Now his status for the rest of the season is up in the air.

  • Lane Johnson is a warrior. A sprained MCL usually keeps players out for at least a month. Bearing any type of last-minute set-back he will be ready to go Sunday night.

  • Josh Sweat is new to the injury report. Losing him would be another big loss to the Eagles defensive line after already losing Derek Barnett for the season. Brandon Graham, Michael Bennett and Chris Long will likely see more game action if Sweat isn't able to rotate in.

  • If Gregory can't play, the Offensive Line will have a much easier time giving Carson Wentz room and time to make plays, especially since David Irving and Taco Charlton won't be playing either.

  • Swaim is the Cowboys #1 Tight End, so him not being available would make life harder on Dak Prescott Sunday night.

  • Tavon Austin not being available means one less weapon for Dak Prescott to use, which is music to the Eagles defenses' ears.

  • The captain of the Cowboys defense, Sean Lee, will be out for this game and much longer. Now Cowboys fans can go back to using their trademark excuse when they lose multiple games with him out.

  • Joe Thomas is a special-teams specialist who won't play, which helps since Darren Sproles is out and the Eagles will be using a new punt returner and kick returner.

  • Connor Williams being out means Fletcher Cox will be pestering Dak Prescott all night on Sunday.
