Eagles Bring in Six Players for Workouts

The Eagles were busy today at the NovaCare Complex. The team brought in three wide receivers, two linebackers and a defensive back for a workout.

The team did make a series of moves today: activating wide receiver Mike Wallace, promoting cornerback Josh Hawkins to the active roster, and waiving cornerbacks Chandon Sullivan and De'Vante Bausby. It's likely that the workouts happened in the morning, and after watching the workout they felt they would rather get Wallace back from his injury and promoting from within than to bring in one of the outsiders working out.

If the Eagles get into the playoffs and need some help at any of those three positions, these players could get another call. Or if the team is eliminated this weekend these players could have earned a chance today to go through training camp with the Birds in 2019.
