Eagles Bring Back Jordan Matthews

Carson Wentz has his best friend back. Earlier today, the team announced that they have signed WR Jordan Matthews.

Matthews was drafted by the Eagles in the 2nd round of the 2014 NFL Draft. As an Eagle, Matthews played in 46 games, collected 225 catches for 2,673 yards and 19 TD’s. He was Wentz's go-to receiver during the franchise QB's rookie campaign. With Wentz returning from his torn ACL injury on Sunday, Wentz will now have another receiver he has a lot of chemistry with.

The corresponding move was to put Mike Wallace on IR. Wallace will now miss at least the next either weeks before he is able to possibly return to the roster.

The Eagles are only allowed to bring two players off of injured reserve during a season. They already have Mack Hollins, Richard Rodgers and Mike Wallace now on the list with only two games played. The team will have a tough decision to make as the second half of the season approaches.
