After making a big move on Day 1 of the unofficial start of free agency, the Eagles have been relatively quiet so far on Day 2.
The Eagles announced that they are bringing back two players from last year's squad who's contracts had run out -- WR Greg Ward and DB Andre Chachere.
Ward has been on the team since 2017 (was on the practice squad in 2017 and 2018). In three seasons on the active roster, Ward has produced 88 receptions for 768 yards and 10 touchdowns. Depending on how many other receivers the Eagles bring in, he will likely play a similar role as last season (played 22% of offensive snaps).
Chachere was mostly a special teamer in 2021, but he did play 118 defensive snaps last season (11% of team's total defensive snaps). He's not guaranteed a spot on the 2021 roster, but if he does make the team expect a similar role for him in 2022.
