Eagles 2020 Senior Bowl Practice Notes From Day 2

As the week continues on, Eagles brass are still down in Mobile, Alabama scouting this year's crop of seniors. Day one saw the team meet with 11 seniors. On day two, which occurred on Wednesday, the team met with three players on the North squad:

Jordan Love | QB | Utah State | 6'4 223lbs (source)

A man who looks to be Pat Mahomes 2.0 - his words, not mine. A big bodied QB, that looks to be a late first round pick, or at least an early day two pick. Great size and rocket arm that you look for in a QB. Great 2018 numbers, followed up by a mediocre at best 2019 campaign. Needs work seeing the field, and with his decision making. His footwork and release are great, and has shown flashes of elite ball placement. With Carson Wentz under contract for a very long time, it's highly doubtful the Eagles would spend that high of a pick for a backup quarterback. This more than likely falls into the category of just a quick conversation to get some background information on a potential future opponent.

Projection: 1st-2nd Round

Colton McKivitz | G/T | West Virginia | 6'7 312lbs (source)

A good, but not great, tackle prospect that moved from the right side in 2018 to the left in 2019 when Yodny Cajuste left for the NFL. McKivitz projects to be a guard at the next level, but may be able to hold his own as a right tackle.

Projection: 4th-6th Round

Leki Fotu | DT | Utah | 6'5 337lbs (source)

Day two brought another Ute defensive lineman that the Eagles have met with. Fotu is a mammoth playing defensive tackle and has impressive explosion off the ball given the size. Fotu gets out-leveraged, but makes up for it with his lower and upper body strength. The Eagles are longing to have solid tackle play next to Fletcher Cox, so they'll likely be doing due diligence with most defensive tackles available in April's draft.

Projection: 3rd-4th Round
