The pass rush in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions was underwhelming, especially knowing that the Lions had two starters on their offensive line out and one playing through an injury. That personnel group will lose some depth, as Derek Barnett reportedly tore his ACL .
Barnett will now miss the rest of the season and will be a pending free agent this offseason. Tarron Jackson is likely to be the next man up and take his snaps. Matt Leo is the only pass rusher on the practice squad, but the 30-year-old hasn't shown much potential since his arrival in 2020.
The Eagles will now likely be in the market to poach a potential replacement off another team's practice squad or a free agent. If the pass rush continues to be poor Howie Roseman could make a splash before the trade deadline on November 1st.
