Even though yesterday was a day to forget for most Eagles fans, there was one Eagles fan couple that had a great day.
At a tailgate party at Xfinity Live!, former Eagles Kicker David Akers was on hand to help one lucky couple announce the gender of their first baby.
The couple are big fans of Akers, and he was nice enough to come out and be a part of their memorable day and help with the reveal, kicking a football filled with blue dust to confirm the couple will be having a son.
To make things even more interesting, the couple announced their son will be named David, but after the man's grandfather, not after Akers.
The Eagles fan base will be growing by one soon once David is born.
