Undrafted rookie receiver/punt returner Britain Covey isn't a household name yet, but his experiences before his first regular season game at Lincoln Financial Field might incentivize him to keep grinding to become more well known.
According to 94.1 WIP's Howard Eskin, Covey, who was elevated from the Eagles practice squad hours before kickoff, tried to park his car in the players’ lot before the game. The gate attendants didn’t believe he was a player and refused to let him into the lot. Covey ended up parking in the general fan parking lot next to some tailgaters.
Some tailgaters confirmed the story with a selfie they took with Covey.
Covey confirmed it as well with a reply to the fans.
Covey had just 14 yards on three punt returns, but at least he isn't Jalen Reagor....
