One year ago, Zach Ertz came in at number 68 on NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2018 List. Since then, In the year after that list was released, Ertz went on to catch the most passes in Eagles franchise history and also set an NFL record for most receptions by a tight end with 116.
The result of Ertz's historic season led to him moving up 28 spots on this year's list.
Ertz is the third Eagle to appear on the list, with Carson Wentz popping up at 96 and Jason Kelce at 72.
This year Carson Wentz will likely still be looking for his favorite target often, but with many new additions to the Eagles offense (DeSean Jackson, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders), Wentz might be more inclined to spread the wealth more. If the offense is more balanced this season then we will likely see Ertz dip back down on the 2020 list.
