Last week, DK Metcalf not only was our player to steal, but he also lit the Eagles up for a massive day. The Eagles' opponent this week, the Green Bay Packers, boasts a highly productive defense and an even better offense. The player we want to steal this week should come as no surprise.
On defense, the Packers do not have a ton of star power in their front seven. But their secondary is very good. Jaire Alexander is one of the best corners in the game and would make a nice addition next to Darius Slay Jr. Darnell Savage is a great young safety that is a ball hawk. Either of them would be great to add to the team to stop the Packers' aggressive offense, but they didn't make the final cut.
Offensively, the Packers have more star power than Howie Roseman would know what to do with. They have one of the best tackles in football, David Bakhtiari, who would be an upgrade from our current situation on the offensive line. Aaron Jones is a dynamic running back that seemingly scores touchdowns every game, and Davante Adams could already play for the Eagles, but Philadelphia drafted Jordan Matthews instead.
At the end of the day, I want to see what a future Hall of Fame quarterback could do with the current team the Eagles are putting on the field. Would Aaron Rodgers elevate the Eagles to be contender, or would he struggle like Carson Wentz has all year? This is simply a pick which would give Eagles fans insight as to whether the offensive misses this year are on Wentz, or the team/coaching staff.
Sound off below, who would YOU steal from the Green Bay Packers?
