Last week, Patrick Peterson was my choice of the player I most wanted from the Arizona Cardinals. For the first time since starting this series, the player pick had a terrible game. Peterson was a step behind Alshon Jeffery for most of the game and was beat on several plays. This week, the Eagles face off against their NFC East rival, the Dallas Cowboys.
Despite their struggles this year, the Cowboys have plenty of talent on offense; a lot of big names that haven't necessarily performed up to their talent level. Wide receivers Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup are huge weapons for current starting quarterback Andy Dalton. It's no secret that running back Ezekial Elliott has struggled this year, but there's no denying his talent level. Even his backup Tony Pollard showed he's a force to be reckoned with when given the opportunity to play.
Defensively, the Cowboys are statistically one of the worst in the NFL. They still have a few talented players lining up each week for them. DeMarcus Lawrence and Aldon Smith are two great defensive ends that have terrorized opposing quarterbacks all year long. Linebackers Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith have played well despite the defensive struggles. At the end of the day, there's only one clear choice of a player to take from the Cowboys for tomorrow's matchup.
That answer is, nobody. It's Cowboys Week, and there's nothing worse than a former Cowboy playing for the Eagles. Anybody remember Orlando Scandrick? DeMarco Murray? Miles Austin? Exactly...The Cowboys have shown in past years that when it matters most, they don't show up for the game. Sound off in our poll below, who would you take from the Cowboys?
