Week 2 Injury Report: Eagles at Falcons

This weekend is a showdown it Hotlanta, as the Eagles try to start 2-0 while sending the Falcons down to an 0-2 hole.

The Eagles will be pretty healthy heading into Sunday, as it appears there will only be three players not active due to injury. Here's a breakdown of the team's final practice and their game status:

LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee): KGH isn't fully healed from the injury he suffered in Training Camp. Nate Gerry is the main directly behind Grugier-Hill on the depth chart, so he'll be the next man up if they even plan on using him. In Week 1 gerry only saw two snaps on the field, as the team's defense for most of the game relied on either just Nigel Bradham on the field, or both Bradham and Zach Brown.

T Jordan Mailata (back): With all the other tackles in front of him healthy, Mailata wasn't expected to see playtime anyway.

QB Nate Sudfeld (wrist): Still healing from his surgery he received after his Week 1 preseason injury. It's good to see he has improved from out to doubtful. He should need maybe only one or two more weeks before he is back to 100%.

The Falcons are a little less banged up than the Birds, as they only had two players limited in practice:

WR Russell Gage (concussion): Gage is currently listed as the team's 5th-6th receiver. He got 13 snaps against the Vikings before suffering his concussion, so he is a small part of the offense as well as a major contributor on special teams.

T Matt Gono (back): Gono has officially been ruled out for Sunday, so the right tackle for the Falcons could be a rotation of Ty Sambrailo and Kaleb McGary.
