Thanks to the Sunday Night Football "flex" option, there has been some reshuffling in the Week 11 schedule, and the changes affect the Eagles.
The originally scheduled Sunday night game between the Jaguars and Steelers has been bumped to 1 P.M. as Vikings-Bears has been flexed into the Sunday night slot. As a result, the Eagles-Saints game that was initially slotted for 1 o'clock has been bumped into the 4:25 slot.
Fox is the big winner here, as Eagles-Saints should generate plenty of interest and the network now gets the game in its prime afternoon slot. The Saints have played great football through the first half of the season, getting out to a 7-1 record. Meanwhile the Eagles happen to the defending Super Bowl champions and remain in the playoff mix. The Week 11 matchup provides an opportunity for each team to make a statement.
