The Slay Family is Already Giving Back to the Philadelphia Community

Darius Slay has only been an Eagle for about three months, but the new star cornerback is already making an impact in Philadelphia.

Over the past few weeks, Slay has been up in Michigan working out with high school football players who have not had a chance to practice with their teams due to COVID-19 restrictions. Starting next week, Slay will arrive in Philadelphia and will continue to invite high school players to practice with him and another new Eagle defensive back -- Will Parks.

Darius isn't the only Slay that will be helping out local Philadelphians, as his wife Jennifer announced her intentions to host a huge food truck cookout free for all fans at a date that's to be determined.

Even without officially putting on a midnight green jersey yet, the Slays are making themselves plenty of fans in Philadelphia. If he can put out the same type of production he used to put up in Detriot with the Lions, he is well on his way to becoming a fan favorite.
