The Eagles Send a Reward to Doug Pederson for Beating the Cowboys

Sunday was a big day for the Philadelphia Eagles. Minutes after escaping Chicago with a victory against the Bears, the Doug Pederson-led Jacksonville Jaguars completed an upset victory in overtime against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Jaguars win over the Cowboys was a huge help to the Eagles, who now need just 1 win in their last 3 games to win the NFC East and clinch the #1 seed in the NFC.

As a thank you to the Jaguars, someone in the Eagles organization called Philly’s Finest, a restaurant in Jacksonville that specializes in cheesesteaks, and bought cheesesteaks and fries for the Jaguars staff.

Now it’s up to the Eagles to finish their end of the deal and beat the Cowboys on Saturday to make sure the road to the Super Bowl goes through Lincoln Financial field. Gardner Minshew is expected to start Saturday’s game with Jalen Hurts dealing with a sprain to his throwing shoulder.
