Just before I started writing this on Friday, the spread went from pick'em to PHI -1. One could assume this is related to the news that RB Miles Sanders says he's "100% healthy" and the high probability of RT Lane Johnson returning. Whatever the reason, Philly is now a slight favorite. Even though it's been only a week, the Eagles are 0-1 ATS, and LA is 1-0 after their win against Dallas last week.

A wise man once said "life's too short to bet the under" and this game has some serious 28-24 vibes. I like both of these team's chances to strike a lot early and give the over a good chance. This game is still a pick'em in my book.

Unless the 49ers put up 40 themselves, it's hard for me to see this game going over. New York put all of their offensive weapons on the shelf when RB Le'Veon Bell was placed on IR with a hamstring issue. That leaves their run game solely in the hands of "former Eagles great" Frank Gore, who's no spring chicken. Go ahead and wrap this one in a parlay with SF -7.

The Texans got cup checked last week by an explosive offense led by a young former league MVP. This week they're going up against an explosive offense led by a young former league MVP (with a better defense). My money says Houston will continue to miss DeAndre Hopkins.
