Ronald Darby Says He'll Be Healthy By Week 1

After tearing his ACL in Week 10 last season, Ronald Darby's hopes of landing a long-term, big money deal this offseason vanished. After testing out Free Agency, Darby ultimately decided to return to the Eagles on a one-year pact. With this brief deal, the 25-year-old cornerback will hope to be healthy for a full season and perform well enough to earn himself a long-term contract with a long of guaranteed money.

On a conference call this afternoon, Darby made it known he expects no delays in his rehab, and should be good to go for Week 1 of the 2019 season.

It is unclear if he will be healthy enough to take part in any offseason activities, or take any snaps in the preseason. But with the team currently rostering Rasul Douglas, Sidney Jones, Cre'Von LeBlanc, Avonte Maddox, and Jalen Mills, the team likely wouldn't rush him back into action.

Today we also found out the details of Darby's one-year-contract, which seems like a team-friendly deal.

Howie Roseman and Jim Schwartz will be happy to have their #1 cornerback back in midnight green for the upcoming season.
