Ronald Darby had a game to remember on Thursday against the Giants. Even though he didn't make a lot of plays that ended up on stat sheets, his great play was still noticeable to everyone watching. He ended the game with four passes defended, and did not allow a touchdown in coverage.
Pro Football Focus noticed Darby's excellence against New York, naming him to their Week 6 NFL Team of the Week, giving him a 92.2 rating.
"Darby was targeted six times by Eli Manning in the Eagles win over the Giants on Thursday Night Football but allowed just one reception for no yards whatsoever. Showcasing his ability to make plays on the ball, Darby finished the game with four pass breakups to boot."
If Darby plays like he did Thursday night for the rest of the season, he will secure himself a big contract either from the Eagles or from a team in Free Agency.
