The Eagles braved the storm in two different ways Thursday night: they dealt with an hour weather delay, and then overcame offensive woes to win a close game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Nick Foles started out cold, but started to play decent enough to help the Eagles get off to a 1-0 start to the season. The team might be looking at Foles being their starting QB for a few more games, as last night a report came out that Wentz might be out a little while longer
The Eagles schedule gets a little lighter in the coming weeks, as they will be facing: a Buccaneers team without their starting QB, a Colts team trying to get back into a rhythm with their franchise QB, and a Titans team that made the playoffs in the weak AFC even with some roster holes.
The team is 6-1 with Nick Foles at QB since Carson Wentz tore his ACL. They can (and should) take all the time they feel is necessary to make sure Wentz is 100% healthy before bringing him back.
