When the new league year kicks off next week and Free Agency gets under way, the Eagles will have their eyes on a former Falcons runningback.
Today NFL Network's Mike Garafolo told 97.5 The Fanatic that he is certain that Tevin Coleman is on Philadelphia's radar.
Coleman has long been in the shadow of Devonta Freeman down in Atlanta. Now that he is a free agent, Coleman is likely wanting to go somewhere he can be the lead 'back, and Philadelphia is a place where that can happen. Le'Veon Bell is the popular choice for the free agent runningback that Eagles fans want, but Coleman is a very solid option for the Eagles to snag next week, and will be a lot less expensive than Bell.
In his 56 career games, Coleman has registered 2,340 rushing yards, 1,010 receiving yards, and 29 total touchdowns.
