Jason Peters hasn't been his normal self this season. He has been dealing with injuries and is currently playing through a torn biceps. With these injuries he obviously isn't playing at 100%, which means he has been allowing more pressures and sacks to Carson Wentz. In London though Peters stepped his game back up, and played well enough to be named to Pro Football Focus' Week 8 'Team of the Week'.
Peters received a grade of 82.9 from PFF:
"Peters missed some time during the game but his ability to return and perform at a high level was key for the Eagles. Solid as a run blocker, it was in pass protection where he really made his mark, allowing zero sacks, hits or hurries from 25 pass-blocking snaps, good for a 100.0 pass-blocking efficiency rating."
It's worth wondering how much longer Peters can contribute while dealing with his torn biceps. It seems like he is able to be productive enough to help the Eagles win, but things could change if the pain from the injury gets worse. Right now one thing is for certain: Peters is a warrior.
