On this date in 2019, the 3-2 Eagles welcomed the 0-4 New York Jets to Lincoln Financial Field by outscoring them 31-6.
The impressive offensive game was matched by an even better defense as the Birds were able to record 10 sacks.
Brandon Graham led the way with three sacks, Orlando Scandrick (who Eagles fans currently despise) notched two, while Josh Sweat, Derek Barnett, Vinny Curry, Hassan Ridgeway, and Daeshon Hall were able to record one each. It was definitely a team effort as the Eagles dominated the Jets offensive line.
The 10 sack game is tied for second-most in franchise history, behind only the 11 sack performance on Troy Aikman and the Cowboys in 1991.
The timing of the anniversary is fitting, as the Eagles are currently leading the league with 17 sacks after earning five of them just two days ago against San Fransisco.
