The Eagles' top receiver through two games is taking a hit to his bank account, as the NFL has fined him for a block he laid in last Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
The player who Agholor hit, Chris Conte, ended up leaving the game with a knee injury.
The play in question happened in the first quarter of the game, on the drive where the Eagles had three penalties in four plays which stalled the offense's progress and forced a punt.
Looking back at the play, it initially looks like Agholor's hit was clean. Conte's head had whiplash when his body was hit from the side, which could be why a penalty flag was called in the first place.
At the end of the day, Agholor's fine is even more outrageous, considering that Damontae Kazee was ejected for this hit on Cam Newton but yet only fined $10,026 for the hit.
