With the NFL draft quickly approaching, we are finding out some last-minute details of all the draft news possible regarding the prospects. Today we found out that Penn State running back Miles Sanders had a visit to Philadelphia to meet with the Eagles.
Kaye also mentioned that it didn't count as an official top-30 visit. That is likely the case because it was prior to the start of pro days, or due to Penn State being in close proximity to Philadelphia.
Miles Sanders | RB | 5'11, 215 lbs| Jr.
Sanders can earn his way to be a feature back for the Eagles if Howie Roseman decides to draft him. He would be a fine addition for Doug Pederson's backfield since he can catch passes out of the backfield. However, the Eagles need a running back who can help with pass protection for Carson Wentz, and that is something Sanders needs to work on. The Eagles appear to have serious interest in Sanders, as they have had a previous meeting with Sanders at the combine, and they also sent reps to watch him at his pro day.
Current Projection: 3rd-4th Round
