The 2018 season hasn't been kind to the Eagles offense. Carson Wentz has been playing well, but that play hasn't resulted in enough of points to routinely win games. Still, Wentz will be the Eagles franchise quarterback for at least the next decade, and the thought of that makes former Eagles quarterback Michael Vick happy.
Today Vick was on 94WIP to talk about the team. When he was asked to give his thoughts about Wentz, Vick wasn't shy to praise him and the Eagles for getting their cornerstone player.
In only his 3rd season as the Eagles quarterback, Wentz has already passed Vick in every passing category except for one: passing yards. Vick (9,984) is currently 6th in Eagles history in passing yards, but Wentz (9,226) will likely pass him later this season.
The Eagles have a Super Bowl ring that shows their investment in Wentz was worth it. Now they will look to add another in the coming years with him under center.
