The Philadelphia Eagles may have lost Malik Jackson for an extended period in their win against the Washington Redskins this past Sunday.
Jackson played 34 snaps before he was carted off the field during the fourth quarter. Doug Pederson told the media today that Jackson's injury is a serious one and wouldn't confirm how much time the defensive tackle will miss until further evaluation is completed. Pederson was also unable to rule out whether Jackson injury would be season ending.
The Eagles still have Tim Jernigan and back up defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway to pick up the slack for Jackson. The Eagles always have the option of calling Bruce Hector up from the practice squad if necessary, too. Get well soon Malik!
