Before each game, players usually have to answer questions from the media about their upcoming opponent. Yesterday Khalil Mack was fielding questions, and when asked about the quarterback he intends to go after this Sunday, the All-Pro had nothing but positive things to say about Carson Wentz.
This will be the first time Mack will be facing Wentz, because the other two games he played against the Eagles Nick Foles was under center (Week 16 2017 as a Raider and the 2018 NFC Wild Card Game). In those two previous games the Eagles offensive tackles have kept Mack from recording a sack, and has produced just three combined QB hits.
If the offensive line can come out and keep up that same effort in previous efforts against Mack, it will give Wentz a chance to have a productive afternoon and help the Birds get above .500 in the win column.
