Jeremy Maclin Announces His Retirement From Football

After the Eagles brought back DeSean Jackson this offseason, fans started to think about the possibility of getting the offensive gang back together and somehow get LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin back in Eagles green. The latter of those two isn't making that dream possible, as Maclin announced at his wife's baby shower that he is officially ending his football career.

Maclin last played in the NFL in Week 12 of the 2017 season with the Baltimore Ravens. Hamstring injuries prevented him from possible re-signing with the Eagles last season, as the team set up a workout for Maclin that he ended up not being able to go through thanks to his injuries. The team ultimately decided to bring back another former Eagle - Jordan Matthews.

Maclin currently sits 10th in Eagles history in receptions (343), 10th in receiving yards (4,771), and 7th in receiving touchdowns (36).
